It is well known that people who expose themselves to high levels of stress are more likely to suffer from health problems. Numerous studies have concluded that stress is a major contributory factor in cases of high blood pressure, strokes and heart attacks, and that the majority of people who are suffering from stress don’t have a well balanced diet, do not get adequate sleep, do not drink enough water and do not regularly exercise. All of these factors make stressed people more susceptible to lower life expectancy levels and ongoing health issues.

Unfortunately, many people face these high levels of stress because of their occupation. A successful way to lower stress levels and increase your life expectancy may be to make a career change. This in itself sounds stressful, but a change from one of the “high level stress” careers (jobs in this category include advertising account executives, architects, commercial pilots, corporate executives, newscasters, photojournalists, public relations specialists and stockbrokers) to one of the “lower level stress” careers (such as audiologists, chiropractors, computer programmers, dental hygienists, dieticians, mathematicians, occupational therapists, philosophers and software engineers) could potentially add years to your (more enjoyable, healthier) life.

If you work in one of these – or any other – stressful professions and you feel that work is impacting negatively on your health, then perhaps you ought to consider a life prolonging career change to something less stressful. Some of these jobs may well require extra education, degrees or re-training, but in the long run they can lead to a longer, far more enjoyable life, and may well prove worth the time and effort involved.

Lifestyle choices are vitally important in preventing stress, obviously if possible identify and avoid situations / people that cause you stress (known as stressors), maintain a healthy, balanced diet, exercise regularly, do not smoke, drink or use drugs and try to establish regular sleep patterns.

When you do get stressed there are many things you can do to relax and reduce your stress levels, including simple things like going for a walk, talking with a good friend, taking a relaxing bath, aromatherapy products, yoga, stroking your pet, listening (and singing/dancing) to your favourite music etc. all of which can help you to relax.

Keep things in perspective – In the grand scheme of things, just how important is the thing that is stressing you? Will it matter in a week? In a year? If the answer is no, focus your energies on something that is important.

However hard you try, some things will remain beyond your control, accept this. Getting angry will make no difference.

Everybody makes mistakes – including you. Forgive others their mistakes, as a build-up of resentment is a major cause of stress.

Try and be positive about the situation – instead of getting angry at the traffic you are stuck in, look at it as an opportunity to spend some time when you don’t have to do anything else other than sit down in your car.

Express yourself – Don’t bottle your emotions up, If something (or someone) is causing you stress, talk calmly about it to avoid any stress building up.

Do something you enjoy every day. Maybe reading, riding a bike, playing with your children or listening to music etc.

In conclusion, whilst many aspects of your life may be out of your control, and life might be so busy that you don’t get time to eat healthily or exercise, just taking a good quality multivitamin supplement can make a fundamental difference.  Scientia Nutrition Multivitamins have been formulated to not only give you the essentials you need, but they are also optimised to help you produce collagen for healthy skin and nails!  Feeling good and looking great has to be the ultimate combination!

If you are looking for anti wrinkle treatment, you must first understand how wrinkles form in order to select the best treatment. Wrinkles occur when the skin loses its elastin and collagen that are important in helping it stretch and hold moisture, and at the same time look young. As a result, it starts to sag and form wrinkles.

It is not only senior citizens who get wrinkles; even people in their 20’s may have wrinkles due to different occurrences other than aging. Wrinkles formed around the eye (also known as “crow’s feet”) are the most common wrinkle condition in young people, and it may be due to genetic factors.  The lack of enough collagen in the skin is the major cause of wrinkles, uneven skin and stretch marks. Therefore, when searching for a good anti wrinkle treatment, you should make sure it helps to restore collagen in your skin.

Taking good care of your skin will help you to prevent wrinkles until when you are in your 50’s or 60’s. At that time, the wrinkles that will form will be due to aging. Taking care of the skin is not an easy process. We find ourselves eating the wrong diet and having no time to exfoliate or moisturize the skin.

The best option would be to carry out treatment with a Scientia Derma Roller which naturally stimulates the growth of collagen.  Derma Roller anti wrinkle treatment is all about making sure your skin manufactures enough collagen.

Normally, the skin rejuvenates and heals itself after injury or aging, but a lack of collagen would make it impossible for a person to heal their skin to a young, healthy and cosmetic level. The Scientia Derma Roller skin rejuvenating system is safe, cost effective and readily available.

Alternatives to Derma Roller treatment include chemical peels, laser therapy or micro dermabrasion, but these are much more aggressive and costly.

Another popular choice is to use various wrinkle creams or lotions, but the problem with those are that your skin is designed to keep the outside world out.  As a result, your skin acts as a barrier and most of the cream is wasted.  Although, if used with the Scientia Derma Roller, your skin can absorb up to 40 times more with just a few minutes of rolling.

A final option would be to go for wrinkle surgery, which is very expensive, potentially risky, and out of reach of many people. While the surgery may work, you cannot rule out side effects.

Among the three options mentioned, using a collagen stimulating product (such as the Scientia Derma Roller) is the most viable one since the product is affordable and can reverse the formation of wrinkled skin. You can even compliment the Derma Roller anti wrinkle treatment with skin creams – especially if they contain vitamin C, vitamin E, Aloe Vera, etc.

So go ahead, treat yourself to a Derma Roller! This aging reversing product has enabled many people to have beautiful wrinkle-free skin without the need for expensive alternatives like surgery or other treatments.

Scientia Derma Roller is trusted by many people and is probably the most cost effective anti wrinkle treatment.

Aloe Vera Wrinkle Cream

Aloe Vera is a vital ingredient in any anti wrinkle cream, stretch mark cream or anti aging cream. Aloe Vera oil has well recognized healing and restorative properties, and is usually contained in top of the range lotions, creams and gel products. It is widely used to treat a huge range of skin conditions burns and even frostbite. Aloe Vera is also a fantastic moisturiser that keeps the skin supple and has the benefit of bringing oxygen to the skin cells – this increases both the synthesis and strength of skin tissue.

Aloe Vera Plant

Although Aloe Vera is by far the best known, there are in fact over 300 types of aloe. However, only a few are used for medicinal purposes. Aloe perryi (found in north-eastern Africa) and aloe ferox (found in South Africa) are a couple of the more popular varieties. But, as the most popular, the industry size for Aloe Vera is estimated to be about $125 million dollars. The volume of the industry for finished products (which include wrinkle creams, anti aging creams and scar removal creams) using Aloe Vera is estimated to be around $110 billion dollars.

Aloe Vera Uses

Humans have been known to use aloe even as far back as ancient Egypt. Cleopatra used aloe vera as part of her beauty regime and the Egyptians also used it as one of the ingredients in the production of embalming fluid. Fast forward a thousand years and the Europeans began using it as an important ingredient in their herbal based medicines. By the 16th Century, aloe vera had arrived in the West Indies: It is still grown and harvested there today.

Anti Aging Skin Cream

One of the main reasons Aloe Vera has become so popular in anti aging skin care creams among consumers is that it possesses incredible moisturising properties. Studies have shown that Aloe Vera improves the skin’s ability to hydrate itself, aids in the removal of dead skin cells and has an effective penetrating ability that helps transport healthy substances through the skin.

Dr. Ivan E. Danhof is considered the leading authority on the Aloe Vera plant. His studies have suggested that the gel found within the plant increase production of human fibroblast cells six to eight times faster than normal cell reproduction.

Fibroblast cells are found in the dermis layer (middle) of the skin and are responsible for fabricating collagen which is the skin’s support protein. The Aging process as well as sun exposure, means that fibroblasts slow their collagen production. As aging continues, the quality of collagen is lessened and wrinkling becomes deeper. Studies have found that not only does aloe improve fibroblast cell integrity, it also speeds up the process of collagen formation.

Wrinkle Treatment – Formation and Removal

For many people, wrinkles are a part of everyday life. But if you are looking into wrinkle treatment, wrinkle removal, wrinkle reduction, or indeed any other kind of anti-aging procedure, it is important to understand how wrinkles are formed – and for that we need to understand how our skin is constructed. There are many layers in the skin; however it can be generally divided into three main parts.

  • The outermost layer everyone can see, called the epidermis – this contains skin cells, pigment, and proteins.
  • The middle layer, called the dermis – this contains blood vessels, nerves, hair follicles, and oil glands
  • The innermost layer, called the subcutaneous layer – This contains sweat glands, some hair follicles, blood vessels, and fat.

Each layer of the skin contains connective tissue with collagen fibres to give support and elastin fibres to provide flexibility and strength.  The following video explains exactly how they are formed and how you can remove wrinkles.

Wrinkle Formation

Younger skin tends not to show wrinkles as it does an excellent job of stretching and holding in moisture. The elastin in it keeps it looking and feeling young, along with the collagen protein in the dermis which also assists in preventing wrinkles.

However, over time, the dermis loses both its collagen and elastin, so the skin gets thinner and has trouble getting enough moisture to the epidermis. In addition, the fat in the subcutaneous layer that gives skin a plump appearance also begins to disappear. Overall, this affects the epidermis layer causing it to begin sagging and forming wrinkles.

These changes in the connective tissue which reduce the strength and elasticity are known as elastosis and is especially pronounced in sun-exposed areas – and also with individuals who smoke.

Wrinkles and Aging

There isn’t a specific age when people suddenly get wrinkles: Even young people in their 20s begin forming wrinkles, particularly around their eyes (called “crow’s feet”) from squinting or spending too much time in the sun.

Some more fortunate people may well be in their 50s or 60s before they begin to form their first lines and have to start considering ways to treat wrinkles. This is usually because they have taken good care of their skin, although it is also largely dependant on genes. However it happens to all of us eventually as a natural part of the aging process.

QUESTION? What do scars, wrinkles, stretch marks and uneven skin have in common?

ANSWER: A lack of collagen! If your body would produce more collagen then you wouldn’t get them. Using a Scientia Derma Roller is a very effective treatment for wrinkles (and many other conditions), as it offers nature a helping hand by encouraging collagen production in the skin, which helps prevent or reverse their formation.

Treatment of Wrinkles and Anti Aging

There are ways of holding back and even reversing this aging process by taking advantage of the way our skin behaves under certain conditions. Our skin is designed to heal itself naturally and our Derma-Roller is designed to take advantage of this fact – artificially stimulating the natural ability of the skin to generate the building blocks of younger, tighter skin, therefore offering a great treatment for the removal of wrinkles. The Scientia Derma Roller helps to boost collagen production by creating a painless perceived trauma to the upper two layers of the skin by opening the pores. This stimulates increased blood flow / nutrients, and the increase of collagen within the skin reduces the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines – all without causing any real damage in the way that laser treatment, chemical peels or micro dermabrasion do.

The second major benefit is that because the pores of the upper layer are temporarily opened (for about an hour), wrinkle remover creams and oils are able to be absorbed far more effectively. This boosts their effectiveness by up to 40 times. The skin is, after all, your body’s natural barrier to the outside world and is designed to keep external substances out.

Getting Rid of Wrinkles

Removing wrinkles has never been more cost effective: The Scientia Derma Roller has given thousands of individuals the opportunity to finally slow / reverse the aging process and get rid of wrinkles, without the need for wrinkle surgery or other expensive treatments. We are so confident that it works, we offer a full money back guarantee. Nutrition and Anti Aging

Nowadays, people are living far longer than they used to, which is, of course, brilliant news for all of us. Mankind’s advances in science and medicine have lengthened the average lifespan for humans to 72.2 years.

A longer lifespan is fantastic for all of us to hear, but as we age it’s common to go through a range of age-related problems. Whereas one of our main aims in life is to prolong it, you’ll probably agree that we’d rather not do the aging part.

Sooner or later, we will all experience symptoms like heart disease, memory loss, and winkles, to name but a few. This is mainly due to free radicals.

Free radicals are harmful oxygen molecules that damage the body’s cells, which in turn leads to problems like those mentioned above. And the best way to fight against these free radicals is by eating citrus fruit. They contain lots of vitamin C, which helps prevent wrinkles, protects our arteries, and reduces the chances of stroke or heart disease.

There are quite a few foods that can combat aging, such as spinich, which is full of carotenoids, these help to protect our eyes from macular degeneration, which is a leading cause of elderly blindness.

Grapefruit, which is loaded with glutathione, which helps lower blood pressure and cholesterol. Tomatoes and watermelon both contain lycopene, which is a strong antioxidant. In fact, these two are so strong, they can play a great part in helping to prevent cancer.

As we get older, it is normal for our appetite to slow down, so our body takes in fewer nutrients than it used to. Add that to the fact that a lot of us just don’t eat what we should when it comes to things like fruit, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains, and what you get is a very poor diet. If you want to get the right amount of nutrients in your everyday diet, you should include the following:

– Beta-Carotene: Found in things like carrots, yellow squash, and brighly couloured vegetables. It’s an antioxidant that helps to prevent wrinkles, dry skin, cataracts, heart disease and even cancer. You can get approximately 12mg for one sweet potato.

Vitamin E: Found in things like nuts, wheat germ, and cooking oils. You can cut the risk of heart disease in half by getting the right amount of vitamin E. That’s just 4 tsp of sunflower seeds per day!

– Zinc and Calcium: Found in things like dairy foods, leafy green vegetables. They are the two most important minerals in your diet, seriously important for preventing osteoporosis. Zinc can be found in things like meats and shellfish, and helps to keep your immune system strong.

– B Vitamins: Found in things like leafy green vegetables, potatos, bananas, meats, and legumes. They primarily help to maintain our energy levels and keep our brain and nerves functioning well.

Now, obviously, all of this helps to combat the aging process internally, but, being human, the visual effects of age will catch up to us all at some time. But there are wonderful restorative measures for that too. As well as the usual methods such as creams, lotions, and expensive surgery, there are more traditional means that have equal if not better results, such as dermatological micro needling, which actually causes the skin to look younger using it’s own healing abilities. Plus it’s far more affordable and attainable than other methods.

The Ultimate Skin Care / Health and Beauty Product

Fortunately, the Scientia Derma Roller can be used to stimulate collagen production in the skin without damaging it, in the comfort of the home – all at a price which is kind to your budget! Better yet, your favourite skin creams can be absorbed by the skin up to 40 times more effectively after use!
