Millions of people throughout the world, both young and old suffer from hair loss. Hair loss can be embarrassing to anybody and can even adversely affect a persons self confidence. There are many different reasons for hair loss apart from male pattern baldness, including age, genetic make-up, styling damage, lfestyle and stress among other things. No matter what the reason is, there are several ways you can treat hair loss and trigger the re-growth of your own natural hair. Both men and women experience hair loss and in order to have the hair grow back on its own, the hair follicles must be stimulated to increase the rate of growth and density of hair.

A product that is able to safely and painlessly stimulate your hair follicles in this way is the Scientia Hair Laser. This product is designed to treat hair loss and promote the re-growth of hair with simple, quick, painless daily treatments in the comfort of your own home. This laser stimulates the hair follicles and scalp at different depths which increases their growth rate and density. More importantly, this laser can also reinvigorate previously dormant hair follicles on the head. Using the product is as easy as brushing your hair with a brush, and only needs to be done for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, ideally on a daily basis.

The hair laser safely uses three differing wavelengths at the same time to maximize results, allowing users to see noticeable results in just a matter of weeks. The process is completely pain-free, effective, and most importantly it can be done discreetly from the comfort of your own home. Users have reported seeing better results with this laser than they have with other, far more expensive,  treatment options. The laser utilises a completely safe process called low-level (or soft) laser therapy to reduce hair loss and promote hair re-growth.

While you are waiting for your hair to re-grow, there is also a way to significantly improve the look of thinning hair, by concealing balding patches and thinning hair. This inexpensive, simple to use, non-invasive treatment will leave you with a fuller-looking head of hair in under a minute. Scientia Hair Fibers are a temporary way to get a full head of hair that people will genuinely think is your own natural hair. These fibers are tiny strands of pure, organic keratin (the same stuff that your hair is actually made from) which attach themselves to your existing hair using static electricity. The keratin fibres naturally blend invisibly with your existing hair, and there is no need to worry about any leakage, running or staining from the fiber colors. These fibers are designed to resist wind, rain and sweat so you never have to worry about anyone noticing them. Applying the fibers is easy; simply sprinkle them onto your hair in the morning and the keratin fibers will last all day, until you choose to wash them away with your normal shampoo. This is an ideal way of covering thinning and balding areas of the head while waiting for your natural hair growth patterns to be restored.

The technology behind this hair loss product is low-level laser therapy which is completely painless and safe.  There are over 2000 clinical studies proving that this hair laser treatment can improve thinning hair, help to restore hair, prevent hair loss / baldness and can trigger regrowth of hair.  Simply run the Scientia Hair Laser (also known as a ” laser comb”,  “laser brush” or “laser hairbrush”) over your scalp in the same way that you would use a hair brush, except much more slowly. Laser hair treatment really is that simple.

Scientia Hair Laser Wavelength Diagram

Say goodbye to expensive hair loss treatments, unnecessary drugs and supplements. The three wavelengths of laser light generated by the Scientia Hair Laser help to regrow hair loss by stimulating your hair follicles, which increases their rate of growth, density, and can reinvigorate dormant hair follicles.

Your scalp contains hairs at four different stages of their life cycle. The Scientia Hair Laser can act on three of these stages, so in over 90% of cases, significant reduction in hair loss and a regrowth of hair and hair restoration is measurable.

Live roots which are currently growing a hair stem (in the Anagen phase) are provided with energy which enables the follicle to grow your hair more rapidly. If your hair follicles are in the resting or shedding phase (the telogen phase), the Scientia Hair Regrowth Laser can regenerate your hair follicles. Those roots which are weakened and have already developed a miniaturised vellus hair (the pale and fine Peach fuzz style hairs) are stimulated to grow thicker and healthier hair – and over time can turn into normal healthy hair. It is only the dead roots which are beyond hair laser therapy regeneration with the Scientia Hair Laser.

Scientia Hair Laser Before and After Picture

For over 20 years low-level laser therapy (LLLT) has provided patients around the world with excellent hair restoration results, but laser hair growth has traditionally been carried out by clinics and expensive salons, and has not been available as an at home hair laser treatment.  So if you are looking for a painless, easy and affordable method of restoring your hair in the comfort of your own home, and are fed up of entering “how to regrow hair” or ” how to restore hair” into internet search engines, then you are in the right place for the best hair loss treatment. Androgenetic alopecia, male pattern baldness or female hair loss need not continue to be a consideration in your life.

So what makes the Scientia Hair Laser any different from other brands?

The biggest secret when choosing a laser for hair loss lies in the wavelength of laser light that is used in the Scientia Hair Laser. Other hair lasers only use one wavelength of light, but the Scientia laser for hair uses three different wavelengths simultaneously to maximise results. This is world-first patented technology. In every Scientia hair laser comb there are actually 21 high-tech lasers. Most hair lasers also only operate within the 600 to 700 nm wavelength, and yet wavelengths of around 800 nm have been demonstrated in clinical trials to have the deepest penetration. We use 670 to 830 nm lasers as part of our product because this is minimally absorbed (wasted) by Melanin, water or haemoglobin. This design ensures that the laser light reaches deep into the hypodermis which effectively activates blood circulation around your follicles.

Scientia Hair Laser Wavelength Diagram 2Hair Laser Wavelengths

The lasers within the Scientia Hair Laser device are vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCSEL) which are completely different to edge emitting lasers used in cheaper, less effective products.  VCSEL lasers are very accurate in terms of the wavelength produced, they require less power and they can be fitted much more closely together with no electrostatic problems.  The result is a much lighter handheld hair laser, with lasers placed closer together for better scalp coverage.

What are the benefits of lower level laser light therapy for hair loss treatment?

  • It is possible to increase blood supply to the scalp by as much as 54% after just one treatment.
  • Aside from using a laser for hair regrowth, you can also stop further hair loss in up to 85% of cases too.
  • This home laser for hair can stimulate the regrowth of your own natural hair.
  • The process can repair and improve the hair shaft quality, resulting in up to 25% increase in volume.

Who will benefit from using the Scientia Hair Laser?

  • People with hair loss not exceeding five years.
  • People with a bald spot that does not exceed 4 inches across the head.
  • People with genetic hair loss.
  • Anyone using any other form of hair loss therapy or treatment.
  • Anyone who has undergone chemotherapy or experienced hair loss after an illness.
  • Anyone with a dry scalp.
  • Anyone who has experienced hair loss after giving birth (postpartum).

Scientia Hair Laser Results

Are there any other names for this form of therapy?

Low-level laser therapy has also in the past been referred to as soft laser, cold laser therapy, low-power laser therapy, laser acupuncture, therapeutic laser or the bio stimulation laser. All of these terms used the same principles when referring to a hair treatment for hair loss product.

Scientia Hair Laser instructions

Place the hair laser flat on your scalp for at least 10 seconds in one area, then move onto the next in the same motion you would use to brush your hair.  Each movement of the device should be by 1 to 2 cm to ensure thorough scalp coverage.  The Scientia Hair Laser has a sound button which emits a bleep every 10 seconds, so you know when to move on to the next patch of scalp.  The lasers will turn off automatically after 10 minutes.  As with any other form of laser, you should not look directly at the light.

Apply to the problem area for 10 to 20 minutes per day as often as five days a week. It is better to use as often as you can. Using the product for 10 minutes in the morning and in the evening every day will give optimal results.

Hair loss and hair regrowth is a repeating cycle. On that basis it is important to use the Scientia Hair Laser on a consistent basis in order to thicken and rejuvenate the hair that you have, and prevent any further hair follicles from shrinking.

As you notice results, over a 2 to 3 month period, you should be encouraged to continue the use of the device over time. The more you use it, the greater the difference will be.

You may still continue to use any hair lotion or any types of wet products together with the Scientia Hair Laser.

What can I expect to gain from using the Scientia Hair Laser?

  • Increased cell activity and increased blood flow in the scalp.
  • The promotion of follicle cell growth.
  • Reduction in hair loss and hair growth will be promoted

Ways To Prevent And Even Reverse Hair Loss In Men

Years ago, when a man began to lose his hair, there wasn’t really much he could do about it but try and mask the problem or just embrace the change.  Luckily for the newer generation of men facing this problem, there are many more options available.  In fact, if you do not wish to just roll with the changes then there is no good reason why you shouldn’t pursue one of these options.  So before you shave your head and give in to your receding hairline, let’s take a look at just some of the hair loss treatments for men that you can use to help preserve the hair you have left and even possibly grow some new hair along the way.

Popular Hair Loss Treatments For Men

Finasteride is a drug that can be taken to treat male pattern baldness.  It can dramatically slow down DHT, the cause of the miniaturizing and shrinking of hair follicles.  While this helps preserve the hair that is still there, it’s been found that many men also encountered an increase in the growth of hair as well.  Minoxidil works in a very similar fashion as well to Finasteride, and the two of these drugs are considered to be marginally effective in the fight against hair loss in men.  Of course, if you try these and they do not work or you are not satisfied by the outcome, you could always look into taking the surgical route.  Options here include hair transplants and flap surgery, as well as scalp reduction.

A Hair Loss Treatment For Men That Is Simple To Use And Effective

For those who desire a less expensive and invasive way to help cure their problem, there is another hair loss treatment for men that can be used at home and involves no pain or drugs.  The Scientia Derma Roller is a hand held device that uses surgical steel micro-needles. These help to heal the skin in many different ways, such as opening pores and increasing blood flow and nutrients to the affected area.  While using this product, it’s been found that men not only saw a substantial decrease in the loss of hair but also noticed an increase in the growth of new hair as well.  Balding, thinning hair, receding hairlines, and alopecia are all problems that can be helped through the use of the Scientia Derma Roller.

Nothing can strip a man of his confidence faster than the loss of his hair, so the sooner you tackle the problem and take steps to resolve it the better you will feel.

How common is hair loss?

Hair loss and a receding hairline are a sign that age is taking its toll on our bodies. For men, there is a very good chance that it’s only a matter of time before you start to notice that your hairline is receding. For 20% of men, male pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia or AGA) starts as early as puberty. They will probably have extensive hairloss by the age of 30 or even younger. For them, male pattern baldness is extremely rapid and extensive.

For a further 60% of men, the hair loss process is more gradual, and starts later on in life. Regardless of the time frame however, near total baldness across the majority of the head areas affects most of the male adult population.

Female Hair Loss

Hairloss for men is more socially acceptable. Women on the other hand, often face a more traumatic experience from unexpected hair loss. While early adolescence and the 20’s are men’s potential problem times, for women susceptible to generic hair loss the menopause is an equally critical time.

Hair Growth

The rate of hair growth is 3mm per week (faster than any other part of the body except bone marrow).

This process of hair loss and hair regrowth is continuous and natural – it is only when daily hair loss greatly exceeds this rate that an unnatural condition may be present. The human head has an average of around 100,000 hair follicles, which can each produce about 20 hairs in a lifetime

Does hair colour make a difference?

People with red hair have 25% fewer scalp hairs than those with brown hair; whilst those with blond hair have 25% more scalp hairs and those with brown hair. This fact may account for the belief that men with red hair are more likely to go bald than anyone else.

Normally, this would be an ample amount of hair for one person, if it weren’t for many factors, including particularly D.H.T. or Dihyrotestosterone.

DHT – A Factor in Male Hair Loss

This is a powerful hormone in our bodies, which can adversely affect the hair on our head. It is very important for a person to have proper nutrition to maintain hair. When DHT reaches the hair follicles and dermal papilla, it tends to prevent proteins, vitamins and minerals from providing the necessary nourishment to sustain life in the hair of these follicles. Due to this, the hair follicles tend to reproduce at a slower rate and this in turn either shortens the growing phase of the hair follicles or lengthens its resting stage.

This can result in a shrinking of the hair follicle, which makes hair growth more difficult and makes hair more vulnerable to falling out.

Other Hair Loss Factors

In addition to the chemical effects of D.H.T. other factors influence hair growth. Poor nutrition, stress and old age also have an adverse affect on the ability to reproduce hair at a fast enough rate.

Hair Loss Reduction, Prevention and Hair Loss Products

If you want to reverse or prevent hair loss, what can be done?

Well, there are a lot of treatments which claim to help with the reduction of hair loss available, ranging  from creams to surgical procedures including Hair Transplants – many are quite costly, and all achieve mixed results.

The Scientia Derma Roller is a revolutionary device that treats hair loss using traditional oriental acupuncture techniques to enhance the skins’ natural healing abilities. It promotes increased blood flow to carry nutrients to the hair follicles, as well as boosting the effectiveness of creams and lotions designed for treating hair loss such as the very popular Regain.  An alternative method of treating hair loss which has very similar results, but without the needles is the Scientia Hair Laser.

Hair Loss Treatment Results:

The Scientia Derma Roller is a treatment for hair loss that gets results. In recent trials, over a 3 month period men treated with the Scientia Derma Roller experienced an increase in hair growth and an average 80% reduction of hair loss. The hair restoration and regrowth process can help with thinning hair, balding, bald spots, receding hairlines, alopecia and more.

In clinical practice, when combined with the use of Minoxidil, skin needling or micro-needling has excellent results.  Reported statistics indicate that around 85% of clients have their alopecia stabilised – so they do not continue to lose their hair. In 64% of these stabilised clients, new hair growth is reported.  In only 15% of cases, the hair loss continues.  This may be due to other additional health or environmental factors.  It is also important to realise that the dermarolling process must be continued to see results.  If you give up too soon, then you may not experience the full benefits.  Check out the Scientia Hair Laser page for details of the results you can expect from that product.

Also, while you are waiting for your hair loss treatment to take effect, you can enjoy the appearance of a full head of hair using Scientia Hair Fibers!  Just take a look and you will see how this great product stops hair loss being something to worry about :

Is the Derma Roller Just used to Stop Hair Loss?

Of course, the Scientia Derma Roller can assist a much wider range of skin related problems. It’s gentle action stimulates the skin to return to its former healthy state by increasing collagen production in the skin, increased blood flow and enabling skin care products to penetrate and nourish much more effectively. As hair loss products go, it is very versatile.

Visit our Derma Rollers FAQ page for more information or perhaps our Derma Rollers Before and After Pictures page to see photographs of results. Alternatively we also have a Derma Rollers instructions page which describes in detail how the Scientia Derma Roller is used and how it works, as well as a reviews page so that you can see other users opinions on how well it prevents hair loss.
